Thanksgiving in Tennessee

Okay, I am finally getting this thing updated. The time just flies by and I don't know where it goes. Anyway, Daisy and I (along with Sherry and Zarah) went to mom and dad's for Thanksgiving this year. I am so glad we did. We had such a great time and were very glad to see everyone who was able to be there also! We were so happy to see Daniel and to get to spend time with mom Vaughn.
There was a lot of Wii playing which everyone loved (thanks for bringing it Daniel!)

and of course the traditional piano lesson from papaw

we went for a long walk near Lisa's house on friday and the kids loved that

The kids all had a great time going to Lisa's and learning to make gingerbread houses with her and here are the finished projects, Zarah's is the one in the middle, she said her house got T.P.'d (?)
and I have to say I was pretty proud of mine I made all by myself!

Remember Mom Vaughn's glider?

The kids loved playing in the leaves.

Some really strange things happened while we were in Tennessee....Kyle learned to fly! Lisa was hanging upside down....
mom got up in a tree (with Steves help)....and...

..STEVE COOKED BREAKFAST FOR EVERYONE!!!!!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN II

The day after halloween we went to a costume party at our neighbors house..here is Rob as a prison inmate.(which he was very proud to say he got at wal mart the day after halloween for 50% off)... and Christy and I went as Lindsay Lohan and Samontha Ronson..(it was soooo funny)

PRINCESS DAISY !!

We were going out to dinner last night and Daisy decided she wanted to wear a dress and do her hair like a princess and here is what we came up with. She actually did look like a little princess! Earlier in the week Daisy discovered a "special" talent......
..turns out Jade posesses that same talent (maybe thier noses are like mom's fingers)??
Dad and Daisy..so cute..
..not so cute of me but I thought I would stick this on here since I am rarely seen. LOL

mom & dads visit

I am going stir crazy while trying to recover from my surgery so I thought I would add a little to the blog. I am doing well just have to stay home and lay around basically, it was easier when I was anemic and didn't wan't to do anything. I wanted to thank everyone also for your thoughts and prayers for me. Before I went we got to have a visit from mom and dad , they were able to stop by and stay a couple days on thier way home from thier Alaskan cruise! It was a short visit but we were all happy to get to see them. My beautiful mommy!
And of course dad is up to his same ole tricks! Daisy was amazed, her papaw is magic!!
The night before they left mom decided to ride Daisy's new bike.
..I guess the bike wasn't enough, always the daredevil has to try something else! Can't wait until they can come back and stay longer.
